Vision Statement

Our core business is driven by our charter:

..to support people who are disadvantaged through unemployment, disability or other life circumstance and are unable to access and benefit from mainstream national training and employment initiatives.

Our major goal for the coming three years is to assist people who are marginalized through disadvantage, to engage successfully in vocational and employment opportunities and to support their transition to further training or work opportunities.

We will achieve this by bridging gaps in community access to the labour market through the continuing development and delivery of innovative projects, and creating sponsorship networks between industry and the community. Our projects therefore include:

- Development and delivery of worker re-training strategies.

- Operating the Koorie Information & Technologies Project as a social empowerment entity where all funds raised through the project are utilised to further the project’s major goals:

· Assisting local and remote "communities in need" by providing refurbished IT equipment

· Reducing the amount of office and IT waste ending up in landfill through environmentally
responsible recycling procedures

· provide training programs in a "live work environment" to those disadvantaged in the labour market

Consultation and implementation of customised training programs for existing Koories requiring skills for industry change and innovation.

Our scope of service therefore extends to industry, client support agencies and those people who are disadvantaged in the labour market through injury, disadvantage or other life circumstance.
